A midlength evolution of the Machadocado—who doesn’t like a little extra ‘cado on anything? Introducing the Xtra Cado, a midlength evolution of the Machadocado. Rob Machado on the Xtra Cado: “I have this real attraction to boards in this midlength realm. It’s not a longboard and it’s not a shortboard—it’s somewhere in between. It’s for the days when you don’t feel like trying as hard, or when the waves just don’t give you the green light to try and rip.

Maybe you just want to glide into a few waves, draw out a couple of longer turns, and keep things simple. The Xtra Cado has plenty of foam to get you up and gliding, with a deep single concave that transitions into a double concave, plus rail panels to make transitions easier. The outline is clean and easy on the eye, with a semi-rounded nose and a smooth squash tail, following in the footsteps of the Machadocado.”

The Xtra Cado is built with five fin boxes for unlimited configuration options—you can ride it as a quad in bigger surf, a twin in smaller surf, or a thruster when you want to push it. Or ride it with no fins at all—who cares? As long as you’re having fun. Designer: Rob Machado.
